We know how frustrating it can be when the app doesn't catch your words perfectly. We are constantly optimizing our voice recognition engine, but occasionally, the environment or the device itself can interfere with how your voice is captured.
If you are experiencing recognition issues, especially in our newer Role Play feature, please try these quick troubleshooting steps:
Find a quiet space: Try recording in a quiet room with minimal background noise. Things like fans, traffic, or background chatter can confuse the microphone.
Reduce room echo: If you are in a large, empty room (like a bathroom or empty hallway), the echo can distort your voice. Try switching to a smaller or softer room with furniture or rugs to absorb the sound.
Check your headphones: Microphone quality varies heavily between devices. If you are using Bluetooth headphones or earbuds, try disconnecting them and speaking directly into your phone's built-in microphone instead.
